Even as we officially launched MDM in June, our product team continued burning the midnight oil, building and testing additional features that would expand NinjaOne MDM use cases and enable our MSP customers to better serve their clients. The result? New multiple Android and Apple MDM connections (multi-tenancy) is available today – roughly one month ahead of schedule! That’s right! NinjaOne MDM now provides the ability for MSPs to configure multiple APN certificates, ADE profiles, content tokens, and Android Enterprise connections, in a single NinjaOne environment.
The benefits of multi-tenancy
For MSPs not yet supporting mobile devices, you now have the opportunity to expand your services and generate new incremental monthly revenue by offering mobile device support. MSPs currently using another MDM solution can switch to NinjaOne to consolidate their tech stack, simplifying management and reducing costs. As always, managing mobile devices is done through the same NinjaOne platform you’re already comfortable using. There’s little to no learning curve, even for less-experienced technicians.
And for our IT customers, MDM multi-tenancy is a welcome addition for those who wish to manage different organizations separately, including satellite offices, new offices, new users acquired through mergers, and more. Put simply, this means NinjaOne MSP and IT customers can now manage all their devices within the same easy-to-use platform they have come to know and trust.
According to a 2023 Verizon Enterprise report, personal and company-owned mobile devices are among the top three most common targets for cyberattacks, underscoring the need to be able to manage and secure them. With NinjaOne’s true mobile device management for clients, MSPs can offer their customer base better device security and can better support the work-from-anywhere models of so many businesses today.
With NinjaOne MDM, MSPs can remotely provision devices, enforce policies, deploy applications, and complete patching updates from the central console. MSPs and IT teams will gain deep visibility into all their devices, knowing where each device is, and which apps are enabled on a given device.
MDM multi-tenancy functionality also ensures devices securely access applications, systems, and resources across different sites, regardless of the user’s location. This is especially useful for MSPs managing multiple clients or for IT departments with multiple locations or branches.
Always innovating for our customers
NinjaOne’s cloud-native platform played a large role in this early release for the multi-tenancy functionality. Our cloud-native platform enables faster product development and more frequent releases. By listening to feedback from our valued customers using the best customer feedback tools, we are continuously improving our products to enable both IT and MSP customers to better serve THEIR customers.
