On October 24, NinjaOne launched our 6.0 platform and product updates – including Patch Intelligence AI, which enhances and further automates the NinjaOne Patch Management solution. Just a day later, we saw the impact this new, free feature can make on our customers’ success.
Live stream, live customer success
On October 25, during a live stream demonstration, NinjaOne Senior Product Manager Chris Williams shared some key functionality of this new AI-driven tool. He explained that AI-driven sentiment analysis improves patch decision making, streamlines Windows patching with contextual insights, and ensures smoother updates by proactively identifying potential risky patches.
During the live webinar, Dave Szpunar, NinjaOne customer and CEO/Owner of Vertical 42, an MSP headquartered in a suburb of Indianapolis, commented that the new feature had already identified a significant issue and helped his company quickly resolve several customer complaints. Szpunar’s team was receiving tickets from customers and end users about crashes and black screen issues in Azure Virtual Desktops (AVD). Windows KB5044273 was intended to fix these two issues. One issue created frequent application crashes and errors for non-admin end users. The second issue was related to black screen instances users encountered when attempting to log into AVD sessions. You can read more about these issues in this blog.
Szpunar said the patch sentiment flag for KB5044273, which was able to show him these problems and the resolution path, enabled his team to quickly explain and resolve the problem across his own customer base.
In other words, as Chris Williams was debuting a new feature, our happy customer gave a testimonial about the proof-of-value live in the chat. We could not have scripted it better if we tried. Not only did the tool work as advertised but it is a free update to the NinjaOne patch management solution.
