Veeam is a data protection and backup software vendor that offers various solutions for safeguarding organizations’ business data. These include Veeam Data Cloud for platforms such as Microsoft 365, Azure, and Salesforce as well as Veeam Backup for Google Cloud and AWS. Veeam’s backup suite enables IT teams to store backups of files in the cloud and rapidly restore them in the event of a disaster, cyberattack, or retention policy gap.
Other solutions offered by Veeam include Veeam Data Platform, which packages Veeam Backup & Replication with additional security and recovery capabilities. These capabilities include anomaly detection, automated updates, full system recovery, and immutable backups.
While Veeam users would have to add multiple products to their tech stack if they want to back up and protect their files from various cloud platforms, NinjaOne—particularly NinjaOne Backup—extends data protection to endpoints and servers within a unified IT management platform. Meanwhile, NinjaOne SaaS Backup offers native protection for both Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace data as well as more flexibility with backups via granular data restoration.

Alternatively, setting up NinjaOne is fast and simple—a benefit when onboarding IT teams quickly—while its user-friendly interface makes it easy to navigate and use. NinjaOne SaaS Backup also integrates with NinjaOne’s overall endpoint management solution, allowing IT professionals to back up, patch, monitor, and manage devices from a single pane of glass.
