FAQ

To install MDM on Android, you need to download and install an Android MDM software on the device. This can be done through various methods, such as downloading an MDM app from the Google Play Store, enrolling the device through a QR code or NFC, or using a zero-touch enrollment method. Once the software is installed, you can configure it to manage and secure the device according to your organization’s policies.

While there are some built-in methods to hide apps on certain Android devices, using MDM for Android provides the most comprehensive and reliable way to hide applications. MDM solutions allow administrators to remotely hide apps from users’ view, preventing access and distractions. This is particularly useful in corporate environments where devices are used for specific purposes.

To prevent someone from installing apps on an Android device, you can utilize the built-in parental controls to restrict app downloads. However, for more granular control, especially in a business setting, consider implementing Android MDM solutions. These solutions provide administrators with the ability to remotely manage app permissions and block unauthorized installations, ensuring that only approved apps can be installed on the device.
